Worried about damp, mould or timber problems?
Get an honest, independent opinion from someone who does not sell treatments.
I am Joanna, a PCA qualified Damp and Timber Surveyor and a Certified Specialist in Dwelling Ventilation.
I find the real cause of damp and mould so you are not sold work you do not need.
Independent PCA qualified surveyor
As a Certificated Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB), I adhere to the strict guidelines as set out by the Property Care Association (PCA).
WHY PEOPLE COME TO ME
Most people contact me after being told their home needs thousands of pounds of damp work.
Often it does not.
- I am independent, which means:
- I do not sell damp proofing
- I do not sell timber treatments
- I do not get commission
- I do not upsell
My only job is to inspect your property and tell you what is really going on and what it would actually cost to fix if anything is needed at all.
Many damp and mould problems are caused by condensation and poor ventilation rather than structural damp. Because I am also a Certified Specialist in Dwelling Ventilation, I am trained to diagnose this properly rather than assume the worst.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY
Take a look at my Google reviews for up to date reviews and customer feedback. Below are just some examples.
FAQs
I cover all of London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Berkshire.
If you are outside these areas, please get in touch and I will let you know if I can help.
I use different types of electronic moisture meters, thermal imaging (as required), wall surface temperature guns and hygrometers.
The readings from these will be analysed along with the notes from all visual inspections to compile your full damp timber report.
The cost of a survey depends on the size of the property, its location and the type of inspection required.
The important thing is that you will be told the price up front with no pressure and no sales tactics.
Just call or send a message and I will give you a straight answer.
